About
I’m Pedro Mora — IAM Architect based in Panama City.
I spend most of my professional time at the intersection of identity and AI security: designing access governance frameworks, working with IGA and PAM platforms, and thinking hard about what it means to build secure, trustworthy systems when AI agents are starting to act like principals.
This site is where I document what I’m actually learning and building. Not polished thought leadership — practical notes from someone doing the work.
What I’m working on
- IAM architecture — Okta cert prep labs, identity infrastructure, PAM, access governance at scale
- AI security — AI Security Competency Matrix, agentic AI, MCP, LLM threat modeling, identity for AI agents
- Security labs — OSAI Prep writeups, Hack The Box, hands-on offensive and defensive work
- Personal intelligence systems — PAI Intel MCP, Claude Code infrastructure, publishing workflow
Outside the work
Black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Kettlebells. Surfer. Bonsai enthusiast.
I play in Una Vez Mas — a panamanian punk band and been active in the scene since the early 2000’s, punk rock ethos is a big part of who I am (DIY, question everything, find the answers yourself)
I’ve written two children’s books: Un dia para salvar el bosque — about using our strengths to make the world better together — and El poder de ser diferentes — about how changing our view of the world lets us accomplish great things regardless of our circumstance.
I write Enlace Reflexivo in Spanish — philosophy, reflection, and the examined life.
The common thread: I’m interested in systems that require discipline and patience to master. Whether that’s identity architecture, Jiu-Jitsu, or Bonsai — the principles are the same.
